Welcome to the Kaprun Museum! Welcome to the Kaprun Museum! In our main building, the over 300-year-old, lovingly renovated Steinerbauernhaus, visitors are introduced to our diverse local and regional history. Since 2009 we showcase this in our permanent exhibition, stretching over 140m². In the warmer months of the year, we regularly organise special exhibitions in the adjacent “Machlhütte“.

You can touch and taste pieces of history every Friday from spring to autumn. In the historic, free-standing oven, the Katschner bakery produces bread specialities in a traditional way.
