Sonja Ottenbacher proved last Thursday evening at the Meixnerhaus in Kaprun that although you cannot touch the soul, you can certainly touch it. At the invitation of the VSF Kaprun and the Kaprun parish, many interested people came to the Kirchbichl.

At a time when everything often has to be “fast and smooth,” Ottenbacher deliberately took a different approach. She spoke about how important appreciation and gratitude are as genuine “remedies” for our stressful everyday lives. But it wasn’t just nice words: the speaker gave the guests some very direct tips on how to refocus on their own well-being in everyday life and strengthen their inner resilience through gratitude.

It was an evening that encouraged reflection and left visitors visibly inspired. The organizers from the VSF and the parish were delighted with the great response and the lively interaction after the lecture. A beautiful sign of how much a word of appreciation can make a difference, especially today.
